You need to register for a Hatena ID in order to post Flipnotes.
You can register for a Hatena ID directly from your Nintendo DSi by accessing Flipnote Hatena. If you have already registered for a Hatena ID on our website, you'll first need to link your Nintendo DSi and your Hatena account. From the top menu of Flipnote Hatena on the Nintendo DSi, tap the "How to Post" button and follow the directions to link your account.
You can write comments about the Flipnotes that you like and can give feedback to other creators by adding stars. You can easily add stars to a Flipnote by clicking on the 
button which you can find on every Flipnote's page. You can enjoy communicating with other Flipnote creators and viewers in new ways through your use of stars and comments.
If you add a creator to your favorites, their latest Flipnotes will be displayed in your "Creator's Room". The latest Flipnotes by your favorite creators will also be listed first in "All Flipnotes" when you view Flipnote Hatena on the Nintendo DSi.
If you want to keep track of the latest Flipnotes by your favorite creators, you can use this function like a bookmark to keep track of them.
